Can you describe your company in about 20 words?
Corà is a company with a long history of working with wood. It has updated the image of its Parquet Division with the new Continuum Floor Collection designed by Massimo Broglio. The collection allows wall to floor continuous installation creating monochrome surfaces or ones with combinations of different shades for both walls and floors. This makes the most of the latest ‘total look’ style for interiors.
What’s your ‘core business’?
The core business of the company is wood, in all its varieties. In particular, there is the Parquet Division for installation on all surfaces to create contemporary settings and extend the use of parquet beyond its traditional role.
What’s your strong point?
The company’s strong point is without doubt its long history. It was founded in 1919 and its knowledge of raw materials and international business coupled with Made in Italy workmanship are united to a high-volume production capacity and the design of the products in the Parquet Division.
What’s your most important product?
The key products are in the Neuvo Line in European Oak. They are pre-finished in 3 layers for use in floating installations which guarantee maximum value and stability.
The Ethic series is characterized by a finish synthesized from different mineral salts and vegetal extracts.
The Status series, on the other hand, is characterized by a wax effect finish which does not need the maintenance normally associated with waxed flooring. This flooring has an antique flavor thanks to the hand-crafted production. Planing, sanding and rounding are done entirely by hand.
What’s your export percentage? Which countries do you mainly export to?
Invoicing for 2014 shows an export percentage of 20% and 80% in the national market. The main countries we export to are: Russia, Switzerland, England and the Arab Emirates.
