Can you describe your company in about 20 words?
Lignum Venetia is a young company which produces wood flooring guaranteed 100% Made in Italy. It can be recognized by its hand-crafted work and by the exclusive use of natural oils which respect nature and mankind.

What’s your ‘core business’?
3 layer crossed counterbalanced wood flooring. Specifications: 4 mm layer of a type of hardwood, 8 mm internal layer made of rigatino pine strips sectioned to give maximum stability to the product. 4 mm of counterbalance in pine or another wood.
Finishing done in oils which are completely harmless to man, animals and plants as they contain absolutely no toxins. They do not even harm delicate skin. They are resistant to sweat and saliva and therefore make our floors particularly suitable for children or environments designed for them, in conformity to the regulation DIN EN 71.3.
The amount of oil used by Lignum Venetia protects the finish for a long time making the surface water repellant and stain resistant. The client is therefore guaranteed minimum maintenance. There are floors suitable for underfloor heating and also those with a floating installation (Catas test).

What’s your strong point?
100% Made in Italy. Environmentally sustainable and recommended for environmentally friendly building. The product can be totally personalized to suit the client. Available in large sized boards; eco-friendly certification. Our three-layer oak boards are unique in Europe and have the EU-ECOLABEL showing their ecological excellence.
Other certification: The only one in Italy to have 4 Leed credits in all 3 systems (GBC America, GBC Italy, GBC Home); FSC; laboratory testing continually carried out by Catas.

What’s your most important product?
Large-sized boards. 3-layer boards with a minimum thickness of 16 mm, widths up to 500 mm and lengths up to 5000 mm. Gli Antichi collection is a unique collection of original pieces. Boards taken from Italian floors and cladding, which are over 100 years old.

What’s your export percentage? Which countries do you mainly export to?
We export to England, France, the Arab Emirates and Bosnia Herzegovina.
